Our Blog is going Private!

We decided to make our blog private due to a suspicious amount of traffic our blog has seen recently! We are concerned that "blog-stalking" is opening up our family to people we may not want viewing our personal matters. I intend to make it private within the next week, so if you would like to be able to view our blog please send me an email or leave a comment with your email and I will add you to the list of viewers. Our immediate family does not need to email me! We figure you will want to view the blog. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience! CP

Halloween

The boys had a Halloween Parade outside of the hospital with their day care. Brett was a football coach and Blake was a football player. We also went to our ward "Trunk-or-Treat" party where they won the award for "Most Original Child Costume." Good thing Sue was in charge of the costume ideas! Ironically, Sue dressed up as a Nurse? JK, she took a break to go see the boys in the parade!

Brothers!

Have you ever seen anything so cute???!!! We are enjoying both boys. Brett is still super sweet to Blake. I was making a bottle for Blake, who was laying on the floor. Suddenly, all was quite on the Western front. This was concerning. I walked around the couch so I could see Blake. Brett was laying next to Blake, with his head turned toward Blake, talking softly to him. The other day Brett got a couple of his books, sat next to Blake, and read to him, CUTE!!

This was the only good picture of the two of them. Brett was not in the picture taking mood so we'll have to go back since he doesn't have his 2 year pictures yet.

San Antonio!

This is all the kiddo's lined up for their mug shot on the way to Sea World!

The Viva! show was a great hit, Brett would throw his arms up (in the touchdown gesture) everytime the dolphins jumped up and Callie joined him.

The pictures aren't in chronological order, but this was after 4 1/2 hours of unbridled fun after the first day at Sea World. Yes, they slept well that night!

Feeding the dolphins!

The Shamu Show!

This was the second day at Sea World after the Shamu show. We figured out after the first day we should wear our bathing suits and go to the water rides first! San Antonio was having a drought with record heat and humidity.

Brett is a little fish. He swims around all over the pool with his little floaties on.

Grandpa's birthday party and the kids helping him every step of the way. Like vultures circling waiting for their prey to die!

What's a vacation without lots of golf?

Chad said his kids would never play the piano (and gave Melva explicit instructions not to encourage it while they were at her house). That was said well before we had children ........ and here it is! Gran came to join Brett on the piano to play a duet!

Brett stood under this stream for a good hour, just watching the water splash off his hand! Apparently he's easy to entertain.

This was the shark aquarium at Sea World, Cool!!!!

We arrived at the Alamo as they were closing the gate. So we got this fabulous picture!

We celebrated pioneer day with hamburgers, cotton candy, snow cones, bounce houses, pony rides and yes.... spin the apple!!! Does San Antonio know how to party or what?!!

Brett was having a wonderful time on the pony ride until.... he saw the spinning apple! He bailed off the pony with two laps to go. And of course I got to go with him (Chad gets really sick on rides like this). It was everything you could hope for in a ride. The center wheel was wet with water that was used to wash off vomit from some poor, unfortunate kid (there were still a few chunks). It was 105 degrees with what felt like 100% humidity and yes, it was about 20 degrees hotter in that thing. Brett and most of the other kids loved it, but if you look at the kid on the left with his head tilted, he wasn't looking so good. I asked him a few times if he was alright to which he replied yes, but when his eyes started to roll back and his head circle around I stopped the ride just before he had a seizure and blew chunks all over the place. That was a close one!

More golf!

A day at The Bass Pro Shop!

This was the talent show Gran attempted with 2 year old grandchildren, not the longest attention span. Despite not running smoothly all involved had fun, and the parents enjoyed watching!

Oregon Vacation!

Just wanted to let Grandma know she's beautiful! No crying here!

What's a vacation without lots of napping, DIY, HGTV and Food Network!!!

Brett was pontificating the complexities of life with Grandma.

Of course he was a huge help around the house. Grandma and Grandpa are sure to ask us back with all the work Brett did for them!

There was also some play time! We went to the tide pools and hunted for agates! (Agates are little clear rocks you find at the beach) I'm not sure if anyone else has heard of this, but our family loves it!

Brett's Birthday Party!

Here is the happy birthday boy with his blue "pops"!!

All the kids had a blast swimming and playing with the bubbles!

Notice the blue coloring surrounding his mouth, no he's not cold!

Who doesn't love huge dump trucks?!

The excitement....

anticipation......

and...... it's over!

Blake's One Month Pictures!

Here are some of Blake's one month pictures!
